Security and Fraud Prevention

Platform Security Measures and OTP Policies

At TechShelf, we employ industry-standard security protocols to safeguard your wallet, login credentials, and payments.

1. One-Time Passwords (OTP)

To prevent unauthorized login attempts, automated bot attacks, and fraudulent payouts, TechShelf enforces email OTP verification. Every login attempt must be validated with a unique 6-digit passcode sent directly to your registered email.

2. Payment Encryption

All communications with payment gateways (Safaricom M-Pesa API and PayPal API) are secured via TLS 1.3 encryption. We do not store credit card credentials or payment PIN codes on our servers.

3. Secure Wallet Withdrawals

Wallet withdrawals are strictly monitored. Payout channels are restricted to the verified phone numbers and PayPal email addresses of the account owner, preventing unauthorized drains.
